Summer Reading Book Study

This two-week book study opportunity has been created to reignite, and or inspire students to have a general love for reading!

Reading is proven to enhance vocabulary, strengthen the brain, improve cognitive functions and promote critical thinking!

Writing Workshop

Students will get a unique opportunity to work with Ms. Chipman in a workshop designed for the college-bound. This workshop will be specific to the college personal essay.

College & Career Assistance Program (C.C.A.P.)

C.C.A.A.P. is for you if you, don't know how the college admissions process works, or if you know you don't want to go to college, and you just need resources and guidance in the right direction for your preferred career path. Ms. Chipman started this initially in 2020 as a small service initiative, that has evolved since it's inception. The idea was to help a rising senior navigate through the college application process, which can be extremely overwhelming.

Often times, students need a little more guidance to get them to their Cap and Gown, and beyond that-- that is where I can help you!

This service can be purchased, but as this started as a service initiative, it will continue to be and is free for two students who meet the requirements and complete the application.

Calling all Juniors Class of '25, applications for this program is open from May 1st to June 1st at 11:59pm. The two (2) selected students will be notified by the 14th of June. We will begin the program on June 24th.

The application for the '24-'25 school year is closed.

This service is a necessity. As someone who has just finished my senior year, and has been accepted into 90% of my applied schools with scholarships, I realize I could not have achieved any of this without this test preparation service. The college application process is long and daunting, and being online 100% this year due to COVID did not make it any easier. However, Enlightened Learning Access Test Prep guided me through the process step by step. Ms. Chipman specifically mapped out my college application process, helped me with my college essays in correcting them, and even form a request for my letters of recommendation. We meet up weekly via zoom keeping each other informed of my progress and next steps for success. However, she helped me out with not only the college admissions process but also test preparation. Although test scores were waived for my class they were still a necessity to do well on them to qualify for scholarships, merit, and push for getting into top colleges and universities. With Ms.Chipman being a teacher herself she gave me reading materials, practice problems, and questions to ensure score growth. She would time me while I was taking practice tests and carefully review my incorrect answers so that I understood what I got wrong, and how to not make the same mistakes again. Overall this service was amazing! Not just for the college admissions process but also test prep as I felt Ms.Chipman wanted the best for my growth, and helped me get into top schools!

Ms. Chipman provided first class tutorial services in Language Arts and Test Prep to my daughter, Jonahya throughout her high school years (2017-2020), and my daughter excelled in ELA courses, on the SAT and ACT. She was a recepient of numerous awards and scholarships, which required written essays. Ms. Chipman is an excellent tutor. She understands what is happening with the student, the challenges they are facing during online learning and their workload. She was able to identify the challenges my son was having in his writing and English course and help to keep him on task. She offered to review his writing between sessions and give input/suggestions. She would help him focus on the assignment to be able to complete it and he not feel overwhelmed.
